Two For One

Months ago I bought this gold light fixture from the Salvation Army, they have hundreds of them.  I think I paid three or four bucks for it,  I don’t really remember, I just remember it was cheap.

At first I thought I was going to use it in my foyer and decided to paint it black.

After I finished I decided it looked like a brass outdated light fixture painted black!

I don’t like to admit defeat so decided to sit the project aside until I could come up with something.  Well I came up with 2 ideas.

I took the lamp apart and used the glass dome and put some special flowers inside of it.

Then I used the inside of the lamp, placed a lampshade (with a little trim, duh!) over it and voila a new updated light fixture!!

I told you I don’t give up!!
